About

I am a Dutch designer creating multi-faceted, experiential residential, hospitality and commercial environments, in which art advisory as well as design by my own hand play a large role. Through demonstration of provocative concepts and expressive narratives I want to focus on atmosphere and making people feel united with their environment. In my design approach I work holistically towards an experience that benefits both the human and natural environment equally. Through an exploration of material, colour, form and a juxtaposition of contemporary and vintage design, I strive to curate multiple experiences into every space.

I believe that honouring history, location and architecture is imperative to pushing the boundaries and challenging the rules. I received my academic training in Art History at the University of Amsterdam, a Masters in Design at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and I studied Interior Architecture, Fashion and Liberal Arts at the Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam and the Koninklijke Academie Schone Kunsten of Ghent, Belgium. I concluded my education at the Interior Design Business School with a course that brought all fields together.

Amongst my interior design projects are the backside of the Kleine Komedie theater in Amsterdam, two international shared-working offices for No18 - Regis in Atlanta (US) and Singapore (SG) in collaboration with Morentz and a residential home for an avid art collector in Hilversum.
